Muharram and Ashoora

Muharram is the first month of Islamic calendar. Muharram 10th is known as 'the day of Ashoora' (يوم عاشوراء) which is a significant day in the History of mankind. Muharram is also important for Muslims as Imam Hussain (عليه السلام) and his 72 close associates were martyred on 10th of Muharram, 61 AH (680 AD). Needless to say that Islam is alive today in its purest form because of the sacrifices given by Khulafa-e-Rashideen, and Hasanain Karimain (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہم اجمعين). We have explained various issues related with this month in this course and hope that people will benefit from it.
