Prophet Yusuf (عليه السلام)

Prophet Yaqoob (عليه السلام) had 12 sons, 10 from one wife and 2 from another. Prophets Yusuf and Binyameen (عليهم السلام) were born to Raheel (عليها السلام), the second wife of Yaqoob (عليه السلام). It is reported that the mother of Yusuf (عليه السلام) died during the delivery of Binyameen (عليه السلام). This was the reason, Prophet Yaqoob (عليه السلام) had special attention towards Yusuf and his younger brother Binyameen (عليهم السلام) as they were young as compared to the other 10 sons of Yaqoob (عليه السلام) who were much older than them.
